On Saturday we went to Canton, TX for the First Monday Trade Days, the “world’s largest flea market”! It was the first time any of us had been there and we had a really good time.
It was pretty warm, and Addy only slept for 30 mins on the ride over (her only nap the entire day) so she was a bit cranky and bossy (she wanted to tell us where to go), but we think she still had fun. She loved seeing all the people and the neat trinkets that were for sale! Plus, most of it was outside, so of course she loved that. 🙂 People even brought their dogs!
First arriving at the Trade Days.
She was busy checking out all the people.
Addy didn’t want to ride in her stroller. She wanted to walk, like a big girl. P-squared, on the other hand, was happy to ride in Momma’s belly.
“C’mon Momma, you’re too slow!”
Adelyn found something she liked. A horsey!
Just a couple of women, shopping around.
When it was time to cool down, Daddy bought some ice cold lemonade. Adelyn drank most of it.
Ms. Grumpy Gills, trying to be Ms. Bossy Pants.
Having a snack. She shoved about 1/3 of her granola bar in her mouth at once.
And boy was it good!
She didn’t want to share with Daddy though…
We were very good and didn’t buy much (1 parking pass, 1 lemonade, 1 sparkly butterfly decoration for Addy’s room and 1 shirt for Momma)! We didn’t really need anything in the first place. The trade days fairground was so huge that we just ambled around for several hours, taking it all in. The next time we go, I think we will go with a definite plan in mind. It was a fun experience!
Adelyn is 22 months, 1 week old and I am 28 weeks, 3 days pregnant.
