Today is the day!

I put Addy down for a nap this morning, as usual.  She was pretty quiet for a while, but then she decided she didn’t want to nap, she wanted to play instead.  So she started babbling to her stuffed animals, popping her pacifier in and out of her mouth, spinning the crab on her underwater seahorse toy…  “That’s okay,” I thought.  “Maybe she’ll fall asleep.” It got sort of quiet, so I thought “Yes, she must be sleeping!”  Then she started to complain and complain and complain.  After about 5 minutes of her hollering, I decided that a nap just wasn’t in the cards at the moment.  So I walk into her room and, BAM!, there she is, standing in her crib.  She finally figured out how to pull herself up using the crib rails!  What a big girl!  I think she was upset because she hasn’t quite figured out how to get back down once she’s standing… all in good time, though.

She makes me so proud 🙂
