Like many blogging mama’s, my blog is slowly replacing Adelyn’s baby book.
It’s not that I don’t want to record memories in her baby book, really I do. We just like the idea of keeping our own list of important milestones. Plus, my feelings for her current baby book are lukewarm (it doesn’t have much room in it, and the milestones it wants me to record are a little… uninspired. First smile? Ok. First time she laughed? Ok. But what about the first time Addy did her own little jig on the kitchen table? 4 months. Or the first time she saw – and ate – snow? 8 months).
So, we keep track of Addy’s big milestones on the blog. While they may not be “big” to a stranger, they’re big to us!
